My friends in the north and west have been talking about snow and ice for weeks now. They’ve had blizzards and wind chill temperatures, so I won’t complain that snow has finally arrived where I am.
As snow blows around this week, it’s hard to find a legitimate flower that’s not buried in white stuff. Reminiscent of big fluffy flakes, arctic cotton blows ‘north of 60,’ holding steady in the summer tundra winds. I decided to pull this picture today for Friday Flowers instead of scavenging further in the cold outdoors.
